Job Title: Registered Manager - Residential Care

We are seeking an experienced and quality-focused Registered Manager to lead our residential care home for older people in the Portsmouth area.

The home provides a supportive environment for residents with dementia, and we are looking for a qualified Registered Manager who has prior experience in CQC-registered homes or a Deputy Manager ready for the step up.

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £40,000 and will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of staff to deliver high-quality person-centered care
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and health and social care legislation
  • Developing and implementing care plans that meet the needs of residents
  • Managing staff performance and providing coaching and training
  • Collaborating with external agencies to ensure seamless care delivery

The ideal candidate will have:

  • QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in older people's or dementia care homes
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and health and social care legislation
  • Passion for delivering high-quality care and achieving outstanding results
