Family Safeguarding Therapist Opportunity

Opus People Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Family Safeguarding Therapist to join their team in Walsall. This exciting opportunity involves working with adults with significant and complex needs, focusing on engaging parents in relation to their mental health and well-being while collaborating with the wider social care system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver psychological and systemic interventions with parents and carers on a 1-2-1 basis and within groups.
  • Work with adults with complex needs, prioritizing engagement with parents and carers to address mental health and well-being.
  • Provide clinical provision, including assessment, formulation, and time-limited evidence-based interventions within the Family Safeguarding Mental Health Team.
  • Identify and develop bespoke interventions for parents based on their mental health needs, informed by professional knowledge and practice skills.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience and qualification in delivering therapeutic interventions, including trauma-informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional family therapy, and systemic family therapy.
  • Essential driving skills for this role.
