MSSC is seeking an experienced events professional to join our Operations team as a Senior Uniformed Events Officer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, delivering, and promoting MSSC uniformed events, including developing effective strategies and plans to maximize the charity\u2019s profile.

This role demands an organized and flexible approach to work, including evening and weekends.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proven track record in event management and organization, including dealing with young people and health & safety risk assessments.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize a busy workload.
  • Ability to manage and deliver against budgets, regularly evaluating the viability of events and developing contingencies to address shortfalls.
  • Good understanding of cadet and stakeholder management and corporate communications, with a thorough understanding of youth and/or uniformed causes.
  • Manage the issuing and associated logistics of MODNET Laptops to MSSC employees and seconded RN personnel.
