About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team at Accountable Recruitment. As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting accurate monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and precise reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed profit and loss analysis, identifying trends and providing actionable insights to senior management.
  • Variance Analysis: Provide comprehensive commentaries to senior management, explaining variances and offering recommendations for improvement.
  • Year-End Audit Assistance: Support the Financial Controller and assist auditors with the year-end process, ensuring compliance and smooth audit procedures.
  • Budget Holder Liaison: Work closely with budget holders on a monthly basis, offering financial guidance and ensuring alignment with overall financial objectives.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Management Accountant, with strong technical skills in management accounts and financial analysis.
  • Excellent Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Proactive Approach: A proactive, solution-oriented approach, with a passion for continuous improvement.
