About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Projects to lead and manage our Projects Unit. This role is crucial in overseeing a diverse programme of new projects, including the development of new schools, converting and transferring academies, and exploring business development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Projects Unit to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement effective project delivery approaches to meet the needs of the organisation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritise project opportunities.
  • Manage and develop a team of project managers and coordinators to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in project management, preferably within the education sector.
  • Experience in overseeing large-scale projects, including project planning, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
