Nursery Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead our modern and purpose-designed nursery in the heart of Twickenham. Our nursery is designed to spark curiosity and imagination in children, with a focus on self-directed play and discovery.

As a Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursery, inspiring and leading a team to deliver outstanding childcare, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children
  • Inspire and lead a team to deliver high-quality childcare, promoting physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development
  • Embed an effective key person approach to enable secure attachments for children
  • Ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Requirements:

  • Significant experience working in full-day care nursery settings, with at least a couple of years as a Nursery Manager
  • Experience leading a nursery through an Ofsted Inspection is highly desirable
  • Level 3 qualification or above in childcare
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team
