Job Overview

Arm's Systems team is seeking a skilled Verification Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for verifying and testing sophisticated IP, including CPU/GPU/DSP processors, memory controllers, and interconnect fabrics.

Responsibilities
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute test plans, define test methodologies, and complete functional verification to meet quality and schedule requirements.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Work with project management and leads to plan tasks, set schedules, and quality checkpoints. Collaborate with engineers from other teams, including architecture, design, implementation, modeling, performance analysis, silicon validation, FPGA, and board development.
  • Mentorship and Teamwork: Staff Engineers are encouraged to mentor junior members and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
  • Embedded C/C++ Experience: Worked on embedded C/C++ based SoC verification environments.
  • Programming Languages: Knowledge of assembly language (preferably ARM), C/C++, and/or hardware verification languages (e.g., SystemVerilog), shell programming/scripting (e.g., Tcl, Perl, Python).
  • Verification Methodologies: Experienced in one or more verification methodologies, including UVM/OVM, formal, low power, and emulation.
  • Verification Experience: Practical experience of verifying on processor-based system designs, including all stages of verification: requirements collection, verification methodology plans, test plans, testbench implementation, test case development, documentation, and support.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Technical team leadership, mentoring, or coaching experience.
Nice to Have
  • Arm System Architectures: Understanding of the fundamentals of Arm system architectures.
  • Power-Aware Design: Experience with power-aware and clock domain crossing implementation.
  • Embedded Operating Systems: Experience with embedded operating systems, device drivers, microprocessor, and embedded system hardware architectures.
  • Subsystem Verification: Experience verifying subsystems for PCIe, LPDDR, HBM, UCIe, and Ethernet.
  • Emulation Platforms: Development and deployment of large SoCs on emulation platforms.
