About the Role:
We are working with a leading privately owned residential developer in the south of England, who is seeking a highly skilled Development Manager to join their senior development team. As a Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from early identification/acquisition through the planning process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project managing complex residential led schemes through the planning application and appeals process.
- Working closely with the senior development team to identify and acquire new projects.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities and planning consultants.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Providing detailed reports and updates to the senior development team and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in a relevant field, such as development management or surveying.
- 3-5 years post-graduate experience as a development manager, development surveyor, or land buyer.
- Proven track record of delivering complex residential projects through the planning process.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
