Description:

This is a fully funded research position in the AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Partnership scheme. The project explores archives and records management practices across the UK voluntary sector, focusing on charities and voluntary organisations. You will be jointly supervised by leading experts in the field and have access to CDP Cohort Development events.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience. We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and identities, particularly those from Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds.

You will work with charity leaders to explore archives and records management practices, producing a practical action plan to address identified challenges. This project aims to improve support infrastructure for charity archives and contribute to The National Archives' strategic vision for the archives sector.

The salary for this position is approximately £25,000-£30,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
