Housekeeping Associate

Aster Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team at Homemead Care Home. As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the Home, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents, and respecting their privacy and dignity at all times.

The successful candidate will be responsible for tidying and cleaning residents' rooms and bathrooms, as well as offices and communal areas. You will also be required to complete laundry duties, maintain all cleaning equipment, and report any faulty equipment, defects, or hazards in the Home to your line manager.

We are looking for a great team player with good communication skills, basic literacy and numeracy skills, and a compassionate and patient approach. Ideally, you will have some experience in a caring industry, such as hospitality or schools, and be willing to pass our DBS check.
