Manufacturing Project Manager Opportunity

Proactive Personnel Ltd is excited to be working with a leading manufacturing business to recruit for a Manufacturing Project Manager to join their dynamic team due to a period of growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with manufacturing/engineering industry experience to join this rapidly growing business. With an exciting future, this role offers a strong potential to progress into a senior management position.

The Package

  • Basic salary up to £50,000
  • Performance-related bonus scheme
  • Sociable working hours (Monday - Thursday 08:15 - 17:00 and Friday 08:15 - 13:00)
  • Up to 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (increases with length of service)

Manufacturing Project Manager Responsibilities

  • Managing and leading a number of manufacturing projects, keeping costs to a minimum whilst maximising customer service
  • Developing MRP and Stock Management systems
  • Identifying improvement opportunities and developing project proposals
  • Leading cross-functional teams and working closely with all departments to deliver successful projects
  • Full project budget responsibility

Manufacturing Project Manager Requirements

  • Strong experience within manufacturing/engineering with good knowledge of the commercial aspects of the industry
  • ERP/MRP system experience
  • Experience working within a ISO9001 environment
  • Experience within industry tools such as Lean principles, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement would be beneficial
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with all levels of the business
  • Fantastic communication and customer service skills
