Job Description:
Alexander Steele Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading FMCG business to recruit a Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator in Bedfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a HSE professional to develop and grow within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies in line with industry standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Lead incident investigations, reporting findings, and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE legislation and company standards.
- Deliver health and safety training to staff, fostering a strong safety culture.
- Drive environmental initiatives to reduce waste, energy use, and carbon footprint.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote continuous improvement in HSE performance.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing/FMCG environment.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations.
What We Offer:
- Up to £32,000 DOE.
- Monday to Friday - 40 hours p/w.
