About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Systems Specialist to join our team at Croydon Council. As a key member of our Strategic Procurement and Governance team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of procurement systems that drive efficiency and effectiveness in our procurement function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strategic procurement systems to improve planning and tracking of procurements, support contract management activities, and enhance e-tendering systems.
  • Ensure systems have the capacity to capture required procurement and purchasing performance information and report on this.
  • Develop and continually improve dashboards that capture procurement and purchasing performance information from multiple system sources.
  • Develop system controls to aid compliance to policies and procedures.
  • Continually improve the functionality of the e-tendering system to support the strategic procurement process.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of P2P and strategic procurement systems functionality, as well as a working knowledge of change management and project management within a context of system development and implementation. Public Sector procurement experience is also required.
