Electrical Installation Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Supervisor to join our team at Work Lyf Group Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of electrical systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with site managers to ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Collaborate with electrical project engineers to produce electrical installation specifications.
  • Manage site sub-contract labor, reviewing RAMS and coordinating site work permits, including LOTO.
  • Review technical drawings and distribute information to electrical installation supervisors.
  • Manage the storage and safe distribution of installation materials and instrumentation.
  • Liaise with CAD engineers to document proposed routing of cable containment for client approval.
  • Work with electrical project engineers to produce installation planning documents and monitor progress against them.
  • Identify and correctly install instrumentation from design packages, advising mechanical installation teams on best practices.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in hygienic process installation and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Ability to attend client meetings and record minutes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with hazardous area installations, zoning, and control bus systems.
  • HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or relevant industry experience.
Working Conditions:

Mainly based in the UK with occasional travel abroad. Monday to Friday with occasional overnight stays.
