About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Bowmere Hospital in Chester. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care and support to patients, helping them to feel safe and comfortable during their stay.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as washing and dressing
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare staff to ensure patients receive the best possible care
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any concerns to senior staff
  • Participate in health checks, taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, and weight

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care or a related field (not essential)
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy and understanding of patients' needs
