About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Podiatrist to join our team at Livewell Southwest CIC. As a Podiatrist Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing expert care to patients with diabetes and other foot health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality podiatric care to patients with diabetes, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of foot problems.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in podiatric care.
Requirements
  • Substantial postgraduate experience in managing patients with complex foot health needs, including those with diabetes.
  • Effective utilization of diagnostic tools, skills, and interventions to manage patients with diabetes-related foot problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
