We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Education Support Professional to join our team at Academics. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students in their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in lessons across a range of subjects, helping them to achieve their full potential.
- Provide 1:1 or small group support, both in and out of the classroom.
- Assist in the development of tailored learning plans for students with additional needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage student engagement.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has a genuine passion for working with young people.
- Holds a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or is willing to work towards it).
- Is patient, empathetic, and able to communicate effectively with students of all abilities.
- Can work well as part of a team and is flexible in their approach.
- Prior experience in a school setting is desirable, but not essential.
