We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Primary KS1 Teacher to support pupils in the absence of their main teacher, ensuring they feel safe and cared for. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons and manage the classroom effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling lessons that adhere to the KS1/KS2 National Curriculum guidelines and complement the school's creative curriculum.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of age-appropriate expectations for KS1/KS2 students, providing appropriate scaffolding and challenges to optimize individual educational outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of data, conducting analyses to identify areas for reteaching and address learning gaps, ensuring consistently high levels of attainment.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with all students, fostering an environment of trust and mutual respect.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with Teaching Assistants, key stage colleagues, and wider staff, actively sharing advice, resources, and best practices to enhance overall teamwork and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • QTS (Or an equivalent teaching qualification)
  • Excellent references to support previous experience in KS1/KS2
  • A CV that covers the last full employment history
  • The right to work in the UK
