About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Support Specialist to join our managed services team in Edinburgh or Perth. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line support, troubleshooting hardware, software, servers, and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to clients, both technical and non-technical, during the troubleshooting process.
  • Work alongside the cybersecurity team to deploy and configure firewalls and endpoint protection.
  • Monitor client server performance and network traffic, and respond to alerts as they arise to ensure disruption is kept to a minimum.
  • Configure and troubleshoot network issues.
  • Provide mentorship and support for junior technicians.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a busy IT environment, ideally as part of a managed services team.
  • Experience delivering high-level technical support.
  • Experience working with Office 365, Windows servers, active directory, and VMware.
  • Experience with networking, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Experience delivering on IT projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to put across technical requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What We Offer
