About the Role

We are looking for a talented Learning Development Assistant to work with students who require additional support at a specialist school in Mansfield, NG20. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to creating an inclusive environment that fosters academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement strategies to improve students' academic outcomes and promote their social and emotional well-being.
  2. Work closely with teachers and other professionals to create and maintain effective education plans.
  3. Use behaviour management techniques to de-escalate challenging situations and promote positive relationships.
  4. Design and deliver activities to encourage student independence and self-confidence.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience of working with children with special educational needs in an educational setting.
  • A strong commitment to supporting young people's personal development and well-being.
  • A current DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • An ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate positively with colleagues.

Salary: £95 - £105 per week
