At Circle Health Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in a hospital setting. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a vital role in delivering an excellent medicine management service to our patients, staff, and consultants.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing pharmaceutical expertise and input to patient care, supporting the pharmacy department to deliver a safe and effective medicines management service.
  • Supervising junior staff members in the delivery of the medicine management service and assuming responsibility for specialist clinical services when necessary.
  • Facilitating the daily running of the pharmacy department, ensuring accurate and timely charging, and ensuring compliance with regulatory, professional, and best practice frameworks.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Degree in Pharmacy MPharm, BSc or BPharm.
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a pharmacist.
  • Knowledge of General Pharmaceutical Council Codes of Professional Conduct, Ethics and Performance and their implications for practice.
  • Post graduate clinical diploma in clinical pharmacy (hospital) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years registration & 2 years within a hospital environment.
  • Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements.
  • Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
  • BOPA passport requirement
  • Oncology experience (2 years)
