Clinical Fellow in Critical Care Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Fellow in Critical Care Medicine to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW). The successful candidate will have a strong background in Critical Care Medicine and a passion for delivering high-quality care in a multiprofessional team.
Main DutiesThe Clinical Fellow will be responsible for providing clinical care to patients in our Intensive Care Units, working closely with other doctors and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes. The role will also involve developing clinical and leadership skills, with opportunities to participate in projects and initiatives that align with the Trust's strategic objectives.
Person SpecificationWe are looking for a doctor with a strong foundation in Critical Care Medicine, who is able to assess, resuscitate, and stabilize acutely sick patients. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Critical Care, good clinical judgment, and the ability to work effectively within a team. They will also have a strong understanding of audit and governance processes, and be able to participate as a key member of the cardiac arrest team.
What We OfferAs a Clinical Fellow in Critical Care Medicine at UHBW, you will have the opportunity to work in a busy tertiary referral ICU, providing care to a wide range of patients. You will also have access to a range of training and development opportunities, including echocardiography and POCUS, digital technologies and IT, tracheostomy and advanced airway skills, clinical research, quality improvement, and management and leadership. The role is full-time, with a six-month to one-year contract, and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
