Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Teacher to join our Highland Council team in teaching Secondary Home Economics at Charleston Academy, Inverness. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, developing curriculum plans, and assessing student progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching: Deliver high-quality lessons to Secondary students, focusing on Home Economics.
• Curriculum Development: Develop and implement curriculum plans tailored to meet the needs of students.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Secondary Home Economics.
• Experience: Proven experience in teaching Secondary school settings.
• Subject Knowledge and Teaching Skills: Strong subject knowledge and effective teaching skills.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• Salary Range: £33,594 - £50,589 per year.
