Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Architect to join our team at JPMorgan Chase. As a key member of the Asset and Wealth Management, Architecture Engineering function, you will play a crucial role in enhancing, building, and delivering trusted market-leading technology products.

In this position, you will collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and various experts to drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions. You will apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop secure and high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others.
  • Contribute to decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus.
  • Actively contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firm-wide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Influence peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies.
  • Add to the team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and applied experience.
  • Proficiency in frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
  • Experience with flow/diagram/tree frameworks.
  • Experience with backend technologies such as Java, SpringBoot, etc.
  • Familiarity with database technologies like SQL, NoSQL, and ORM frameworks.
  • Exposure to agile methodologies including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
  • Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and pair programming.
  • Adaptability to changing project requirements and technologies.
  • Follow security best practices in code and data handling.

Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 per year
