We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team at Johnsons 1871. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our office, conference, and meeting room spaces.

  • Develop and implement a methodical approach to cleaning that is organized, efficient, and thorough.
  • Work independently and lead a team to ensure seamless delivery of cleaning services.
  • Utilize excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients.
  • Maintain a positive and approachable demeanor, ensuring a welcoming environment for all.
  • Possess good numeracy and literacy skills to effectively manage tasks and communicate with colleagues.
  • Demonstrate physical abilities, including the ability to work on your feet for extended periods, lift, reach, and bend.
  • Adapt to changing situations and be willing to adopt new processes and ideas.
  • Deliver high-quality work and work unsupervised, ensuring attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Familiarize yourself with COSHH regulations and ensure compliance in your role.
  • Possess a British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICs) Licence to Practice or BICs skills training (desirable).
