Shift Availability:

Driver Requirements:

  • Possess a valid Driving License with category C+E (HGV class 1).
  • A minimum of 1 year of driving experience is required.
  • Hold a UK Driver DQC (Blue Card) - Drivers CPC.
  • Complete 35 hours of Driver Professional Competence training.
  • Have a Digital Tachograph / Smart Chip Card.
  • Ability to communicate in English effectively.
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points on Driver's License, with no DD, DR, or IN endorsements.
  • Successful candidates will undergo drug and alcohol testing, as well as criminal background checks by relevant authorities.

Driver Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Conduct daily inspections of trucks and trailers, reporting any issues to management via phone or app.
  • Ensure compliance with Drivers Hours and Working Time Regulations.
  • Maintain communication with the Transport Manager regarding delays and vehicle issues.
  • Contribute to the improvement of practices within the driver team by providing constructive feedback.
  • Keep vehicles clean and well-maintained, with support from the company for quality supplies.
