Tax Advisory Manager

Pro-Tax is seeking a highly skilled Tax Assistant Manager to join our team in London. As a key member of our FS Tax team, you will be responsible for providing tax compliance and advisory services to clients in the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Corporate Tax Experience: We are looking for someone with a strong background in corporate tax, preferably with experience in tax compliance and advisory work.
- FS Tax: If you are looking to step into the world of FS tax, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in this area.
Key Tasks:
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to clients, including asset managers, reporting funds, banking and insurance groups.
- Prepare tax notes for inclusion in statutory accounts for a variety of clients.
- Prepare tax computations and tax returns for submission to HMRC for a variety of companies, banks, and partnerships.
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients for general queries and deal with clients' correspondence on a day-to-day basis.
- Prepare proposals for potential clients and be part of the pitch team.
- Opportunity to get involved in tax update presentations for clients.
- Be involved in advisory work, including tax due diligence reports relating to acquisitions, preparation of FIN48 reports, drafting tax strategy for banks, capital analysis reviews, assisting with Brexit reports, restructuring reports, and other technical ad-hoc queries.
