Celeros Flow Technology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, negotiating, and purchasing all commodities for the Pump market.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain relationships with key strategic subcontractors, including operational purchasing and performance improvement, contract governance, and relationship management.
- Source new vendors, resolve conflicts, and ensure satisfactory operations.
- Review, evaluate, and monitor department purchase requisitions for proper authorization, specifications, and legal compliance.
- Develop and manage procurement strategies, benchmarking of key commodities, and undertake supply chain research to ensure maximum purchasing power and material savings.
- Assist and cover for the Sourcing Manager as needed.
- Strong negotiation and cost analysis skills, influencing, interpersonal, communication, IT, and vendor management.
- Experience with the procurement of various commodities, including raw materials, electronics, connectors, power suppliers, cable assemblies, sheet metalwork, machining, and castings.
- CIPS qualified or HNC, Degree level in business, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
