About the Role

As a Bar and Waiting Apprentice at Greene King, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and creating unforgettable moments for our guests. You will be part of a fun and inclusive team, where you can grow and develop your skills and expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each time they visit
  • Know the menu inside out and offer recommendations to customers
  • Greet, serve food, and look after customers while they dine with us
  • Assist the bar in preparing drinks that meet specs and customer expectations
  • Ensure the front of house is always safe, legal, and clean, and address any issues promptly

Apprenticeship Details
  • A mixture of face-to-face and remote catch-ups every 4-6 weeks to discuss feedback and progress
  • A combination of on-the-job and off-the-job training, including workshops and webinars
  • Reviews every 12 weeks with your Line Manager and Apprenticeship Trainer
  • The chance to gain Functional Skills in English and maths (if you don't already have GCSEs)
  • A Hospitality Team Member Apprenticeship Qualification upon completion of the 15-month program
