The Senior Incident Response Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and analyze security events
  2. Conduct in-depth investigations of security events
  3. Collaborate with other IT and security teams
  4. Create and maintain detailed documentation of incidents
  5. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior SOC analysts
  6. Stay current with emerging threats and vulnerabilities
  7. Participate in the development of SOC processes and procedures
  8. Engage in threat hunting activities

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Security
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a SOC or similar cybersecurity role
  3. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and threat landscapes
  4. Proficiency with security tools and technologies
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Ability to work effectively under pressure
  8. Financial sector experience is preferable
