We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Children's Intensive Support Team (IST) in Coventry and Warwickshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with autism and/or learning disability in mental health crisis.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the nursing team and contribute to the formulation and direction of interventions.
- Provide assessment and behavioural/therapeutic treatment programmes for individuals with complex needs.
- Liaise with and work collaboratively with other agencies to meet the needs of young people.
- Supervise and manage staff to ensure high-quality care and support.
- Registered mental health/LD nurse with postgraduate qualification (PgDip, MSc or equivalent).
- Skilled in the use of complex methods of psychological/behavioural assessment, intervention, and management.
- Experience of contributing to service developments and supervising staff.
