Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Nottinghamshire Primary Schools

Job Description: Aspire People are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in mainstream Primary schools (KS1 / KS2) based in Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide individualised support and assistance to students with special educational needs
* Work in small groups and build relationships quickly with students, staff, and parents
* Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement tailored learning plans
* Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and parents
* Demonstrate patience, resilience, and emotional support when needed

Requirements:

* Level 2/3 Support Teaching or Learning (or ratio equivalent)
* Experience of working with children who have additional needs
* Strong empathy and understanding of individual student need
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, resilience, and ability to provide emotional support
