Exams Officer Job Description

Hull Trinity House Academy is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Exams Officer to join our team. As an Exams Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of all examinations held within the academy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate all examination-related activities, including scheduling, timetabling, and logistics.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of examination results, including marking, moderation, and certification.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with examination boards, schools, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and staff, responding to queries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the academic team to develop and implement examination policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including examination timetables, results, and attendance.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in examination management, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Knowledge of examination regulations and procedures, including data protection and confidentiality.
