Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage complex infrastructure systems, including servers, virtualisation, storage, networks, and cloud environments.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, providing timely support to internal teams.
  • Implement security best practices and conduct regular audits to safeguard systems and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
  • Participate in capacity planning and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our infrastructure.
Essential Skills and Requirements
  • Previous experience with infrastructure including Hyper-V and physical servers.
  • Proficient with Windows server, AD, DNS, DHCP, Failover Manager.
  • Demonstrable experience with implementation of and backup maintenance.
  • Experience with on-site data centre maintenance and management.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and on-site infrastructure.
  • Strong hands-on experience configuring and maintaining network devices.
  • DR implementation and regular testing.
  • Hardware and software patching/firmware upgrades.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable Skills
  • Professional certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/MCSA/AZ-700/900 etc.
  • Microsoft Dynamics or Power BI experience.
