About Us: Hailsham Community College is a thriving 2-19 all-through college committed to excellence. Our primary phase opened in September 2019, and we have completed a state-of-the-art development on the secondary site.

The new facilities include a three-storey teaching block with 22 classrooms and a SEND hub, a fully refurbished Post 16 Learning Centre, and a floodlit all-weather sports pitch. This complements our existing extensive sporting facilities.

Job Title: Mathematics Teacher - Required January 2025

We require an enthusiastic Mathematics teacher with excellent aspirations and classroom management skills. Progression to teaching A Level Mathematics or Further Mathematics is an option for the right candidate.

Hailsham Community College has a longstanding record of supporting GCSE students to make good progress and achieving excellent results at A Level Maths and Further Maths.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics to KS4 and KS5 students
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
