Due to continued growth, they seek an accomplished Senior Building Surveyor to cover the Essex area. Key Responsibilities: Project Management

Lead a team to deliver large and complex reinstatement works following incidents such as fires and floods. Claims typically range from £100k to £1m+ in value.

Ensure all work is compliant with UK building regulations.

Technical Expertise

Act as a technical referral point for insurance companies.

Bid Support and Business Development

Assist with bids and business development activity.

Ad-Hoc Duties

Perform ad-hoc duties as required.

Travel will be localized to the Essex area, with occasional travel further afield for surge claims or project requirements.

About You

We seek a seasoned Senior Building Surveyor with:

  • Proven broad experience in the field
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of business principles and strategy
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Awareness of current building regulations

While not essential, experience in insurance, chartered surveying, defect-focused MCIOB or CEng, agricultural or rural experience, or project management qualifications will be advantageous.
