About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our team at Charles Hunter Associates. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing the Family Safeguarding Model and working with children and families in need of support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of children who require statutory assessments or child protection investigations
  • Ensure smooth transitions for children who require ongoing support from local communities or Family Intervention and Support Services
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices in child protection and assessment
  • Develop and implement effective assessment, analysis, and planning skills to support children and families
Requirements
  • Degree in Social Work and experience in Child Protection, Children in Need, or Referral & Assessment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage and motivate children, young people, and their families
  • Effective assessment, analysis, and planning skills, as well as excellent direct work skills and knowledge to share with colleagues
