We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team at Teaching Tomorrow. As a SEND Teacher, you will be working with a new independent special needs school in Dunstable, providing a supportive and safe learning environment for young people with ASD, ADHD, FASD, anxiety, and communication and interaction, cognition and learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Motivate pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative presentation
  • Work with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure a high standard of education
  • Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents
  • Create and maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment for all pupils

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong and successful SEN teaching experience
  • Comfortable covering lessons across the national UK curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students
  • Enthusiasm for promoting health and wellbeing among young people
