About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Geography and Religious Education teacher to join our Humanities Directorate. As a Geography and RE teacher at Broadway Academy, you will be responsible for teaching Geography and Religious Education to students at Key Stage 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Geography and Religious Education, engaging and motivating students to reach their full potential.
  • Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all students, including those with special educational needs.
  • Assess and provide feedback on student progress, using this information to inform future lesson planning.
  • Contribute to the development of the Geography and Religious Education curriculum, ensuring that it is relevant and engaging for students.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve excellent outcomes for students.
  • Participate in department meetings and contribute to the development of the department's vision and strategy.

Requirements

  • Excellent subject knowledge in Geography and Religious Education.
  • Ability to teach Geography and Religious Education at Key Stage 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for teaching and learning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve excellent outcomes for students.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to continually improve teaching practice.
