About the Role

Sanctuary Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate Bank Project Worker to join our team at our Homelessness Scheme in Colchester. As a Bank Project Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults who have experienced homelessness to maximize their potential and independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to encourage customers to achieve their goals and live independently
  • Assess customers' needs and develop personalized support plans
  • Be a first point of contact for customer queries and provide guidance and support
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, ensuring their personal choice, privacy, and dignity are respected
  • Liaise with external support links to improve customers' confidence, health, and wellbeing
  • Handle emergency situations and provide crisis support
  • Maintain accurate and high-quality written records

Requirements

  • Experience of working with adults who have experienced homelessness
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to react quickly to changing priorities and work to deadlines
  • NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards
