About the Role

We are currently seeking a talented lawyer with at least 7 years PQE to join our Structured and Project Finance Team in London or Edinburgh office. The ideal candidate will have gained experience in a large commercial firm with an established energy practice and have a strong academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills.

The role involves working on a wide range of top-tier and high-value project and finance work, including development and financing of new energy and infrastructure projects and refinancings, operational support and M&A relating to those projects. You will be part of a dynamic team that carries out complex and challenging work and has an increasingly international flavor given both inward investment and clients looking to invest in international markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of project finance transactions from initial term sheets and lender RfPs to financial close and post-financial close support and advice.
  • Work closely with colleagues in other Pinsent Masons offices to advise on cross-border matters.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, banks, and other industry professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to complex problems.
