About the Role

FirstPoint International LTD is seeking a highly motivated and experienced College Placement Specialist to join our growing Talent Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for securing scholarship deals for our athletes to top US colleges across various sports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Secure Academic and Sporting Scholarships: Identify and secure suitable scholarship deals for clients that align with their academic, athletic, and financial needs.
  • Manage the Scholarship Journey: Oversee all aspects of the scholarship process on behalf of clients and their families.
  • Develop a Strong Network: Establish and maintain a strong, sustainable network of contacts within the US college system.
  • Communicate Effectively: Maintain excellent communication with our US college coach network and stay informed about their recruitment needs.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Deliver a first-class customer experience for our clients.
  • Liaise with Internal Teams: Collaborate with other departments within the business to ensure seamless communication and client advancement.
  • Meet Performance Targets: Strive to reach and exceed set targets while maintaining quality.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide weekly and monthly reports on KPIs and performance metrics, highlighting successes, opportunities, and challenges.
Requirements
  • US Collegiate Sport Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge and experience of US collegiate sport and the sports scholarship process.
  • IT Skills: Demonstrate well-developed IT skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • Personal Qualities: Exhibit a highly motivated, positive, and resilient personality with an empathetic approach.
The Package
  • Competitive Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 commensurate with experience.
