Sports Centre Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sports Centre Technician to join our team at Norwich City College. As a key member of our Sports Centre team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including the 3G pitch, sports hall, and fitness centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the academic team in delivering high-quality education to students and commercial customers
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of sports facilities, including the 3G pitch and sports hall
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and external customers
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maximize income across all facilities
  • Take a flexible approach to working hours, including daytime, late, and weekend shifts

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to problem-solve
  • Natural ability to work with students and customers
  • Flexibility to work a 37-hour contract, including 5 days out of 7 on a rota
  • Enhanced Adult and Child Workforce DBS Check and registration with the DBS Update Service
