Job Title: Analytical Team Leader

CY Partners is seeking an experienced Analytical Team Leader to join a growing Pharmaceutical CDMO in County Durham on a permanent basis.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled analytical professional to lead a team of analysts in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of analysts in the development, validation, and implementation of analytical methods
  • Participate in method development and validation, including stability studies
  • Ensure compliance with GMP and ICH requirements
  • Maintain and qualify equipment
  • Develop and implement analytical methods from scratch
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of analytical services
Requirements:
  • BSc degree in Chemistry or related discipline
  • Extensive experience in analytical testing within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Prior supervisory experience and ability to motivate team members
  • Practical knowledge of analytical techniques, including HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, NMR, and wet chemical analysis
  • Experience with method validation and implementation of analytical methods in accordance with ICH and pharmacopoeial requirements
