The Opportunity

Our client is a pioneering company at the forefront of life-changing medical research, revolutionizing the world of scientific discovery with cutting-edge imaging technology.

They are experiencing rapid growth and are looking for a talented Software Engineer (Mid-Senior level) to join their innovative team in Oxford.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize software solutions for world-leading imaging technology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including scientists, engineers, and researchers to deliver high-performance applications.
  • Work closely with research partners in the medical and scientific communities to ensure our software supports cutting-edge research in cancer, HIV, and beyond.
  • Improve the integration of camera hardware with scientific software, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows for users.
  • Debug, test, and refine software to ensure high quality and performance standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++.
  • Experience with image processing, scientific computing, or hardware-software integration is a desired skill-set.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile.
  • Experience in a scientific/medical/research background, or great passion to join such a field.
