Kibble, a specialist provider of services for at-risk children and young people, seeks a dedicated Domestic Assistant to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of designated areas within our units and services.
Main Responsibilities- Clean and maintain designated areas, including toilet and shower facilities, using powered equipment as necessary.
- Empty litter bins and polish and dust designated areas and fixtures.
- Clean kitchen and dining areas, wash dishes, and prepare basic meals as required.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and health and safety within the Domestic Assistant's designated area.
- Perform other duties as required by the Domestic Services Supervisor.
- Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment is desirable.
- A clean and tidy appearance is essential.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required.
- This job outline reflects the main tasks and responsibilities of the post holder at present, but Kibble reserves the right to alter or amend the content to reflect changes to the job or services provided.
- All duties must be carried out in a way that promotes equality of opportunity, dignity, and respect for all individuals and is consistent with Kibble's policy on equal opportunities.
- The successful candidate will be subject to PVG Scheme Membership.
- Appointments will be subject to a twelve-month probationary period.
