Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled pharmacist to provide a comprehensive and patient-centered clinical pharmacy service to patients at the Duchess of Devonshire Wing (adult cancer services). As a key member of our Pharmacy Team, you will be responsible for leading on and developing elements of the clinical pharmacy service to improve the patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a comprehensive and effective patient-centered clinical pharmacy service to designated Oncology/Haematology wards.
  • Lead on and develop elements of the clinical pharmacy service to improve the patient experience.
  • Participate in the out of hours pharmacy service as per agreed roster.

Requirements

  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (UK) as a Pharmacist with a postgraduate clinical pharmacy qualification.
  • Post-registration experience in a UK hospital pharmacy.
  • Clinical oncology experience and aseptic services.
  • Patient-focused, proactive, and dynamic individual to operate effectively as the first point of contact for Pharmacy services.
