Logistics Driver Wanted

We are recruiting for a Logistics Driver to work on set shifts with a rota planned in advance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.

About the Job

This role requires a reliable and experienced driver who can maintain accurate paperwork and assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.

You will have regular contact with customers and must be able to provide excellent communication skills and a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive on set shifts with a rota planned in advance
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Assist with vehicle loading and unloading
  • Interact with customers in a professional manner
Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C)
  • A current DCPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • No more than 6 points on your licence (minor offences only)
  • A good understanding of WTD legislation
  • Good communication skills
  • A focus on safety
Pay and Shifts

The estimated hourly rate for this role is £13.01-£15.08, increasing to £13.71 after 12 weeks for afternoon shifts and £14.38 after 12 weeks for night shifts.

Working Hours

Shifts will be available across Monday to Sunday afternoons or nights, with a range of shift options available.
