Job Summary:

This role will be for 3-5 days per week, working 38 weeks per year. The post holder will provide Clinical Leadership in the Dental Education Facility for all clinical services and activities, ensuring outstanding clinical education and patient care is provided by the Dental Students. This will include involvement in student supervision clinics, providing support and guidance as required. The post holder will be the lead clinical decision maker for clinical supervisors in the Dental Education Facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Leadership in the Dental Education Facility
  • Quality and Standards in the Dental Education Facility
  • All aspects of clinic management and leadership

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Dental Surgery
  • Awareness of local and national clinical standards documents
  • Master's Degree in a Dental Discipline (or able to demonstrate equivalent experience)
  • Significant Primary Care Experience

Working Hours:
Normal working hours are 08:45 to 17:00 Monday to Friday, however on occasions to meet business need you will be required to work revised hours, typically between 08:00 and 18:00.
