Job Description

Job Title: Early Years Team Leader - Education Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Years Team Leader to join our team at Connaught Resourcing Ltd (Education). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of educators and providing high-quality education to children in a rising 2-year-old class.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day responsibility of the class, including planning and implementing engaging and stimulating activities that meet the age and stage of development of the children.
  • To plan and prepare activities and evaluate their planning and practice through use of the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework (EYFS) curriculum.
  • To supervise and lead activities, planning for key children from observations, next steps, magic moments, and parental input.
  • To complete observations and online learning journals to a high standard, ensuring that they are up to date.
  • To complete Two Year Progress Checks to a high standard, including meeting with parents, as requested, to discuss the checks.
  • To be able to identify children who may need extra support or an extension of their learning.

Requirements:

  • Proof of an accredited Early Years qualification.
  • Extensive experience of working within Early Years.
  • A good understanding of, and ability to comply with, the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework (EYFS).
